Watching that video, I’d say it was almost completely his fault. Sounds like he even sped up to actually make contact. He was in the other car’s blind spot while having perfect sight. He wanted it to happen.

Ah Greaper. I am pretty sure he doesn’t avoid them for the simple reason of having something to upload. More than one cammer seeks drama.

There’s a somewhat local cammer who interacts with the morons and idiots on the road here for an excuse to use his horn . This really triggers the morons and idiots known as the Youtube commentariat.

oh yeah I’ve seen his videos very frequently and I’ve noticed a few things:

1. how hard is it to see a BRIGHT yellow Xterra?

2. he never tries to avoid an accident

3. he’s usually partially at fault

4. his insurance must LOVE him

I like how he disables the comments on all of those videos. Sorry mate, half of those crashes are you either hitting them or you not taking any action on your part to prevent a crash. If I let every person who merged into my lane hit me, I wouldn’t have any smarts left.

Plus in my state, failure to do anything even resembling trying to prevent the crash makes you at least partially liable.

Yeah, I would actually put him fully at fault. To my eye it looks like he waited for the other car to start changing lanes to make a move himself and accelerated into the crash. You can see the [generic crossover] start to edge over (to my mind, initiating the change) before he darts into that lane.

They seemed to go for the middle lane at the exact same time, but the other car managed to signal FOUR flashes before making a move. I hear ONE *click* immediately before Greaper starts to leave his lane. The other car definitely called it first.
